Shane Watson became the most expensive player in the 2016 Indian Premier League auction when Royal Challengers Bangalore snapped him up for Rs 9.5 Crore. Pawan Negi continued to have a golden period as he became the most expensive Indian player at Rs 8.5 Crore.
