With only a few days left for the start of IPL 2021, preparations for the tournament are in full flow, with players who have completed their quarantine sweating it out outdoors while those still in quarantine exercising inside their team hotel rooms. Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday took to Instagram to share a video of Jos Buttler working out inside his hotel room, with the help of his adorable daughter Georgia. In the video, the England wicket-keeper batsman can be seen holding Georgia while doing sit-ups. The cuteness quotient in the video goes one notch further when Georgia starts copying her father's each and every action, be it push-ups or any other exercise -- which as captioned by the franchise completely melts our heart.
Buttler led England in the last two matches of the three-match ODI series against India after regular skipper Eoin Morgan was ruled out with an injury.
After having a breakout season with RR in 2018 where he scored 548 runs at an impressive average of 54.80, Buttler hasn't looked back since and established himself as one of the most sought-after overseas players in the tournament.Â
In the following year, he played only eight matches and scored 311 runs before leaving the tournament mid-way to join his national team ahead of World Cup 2019.
Last year, Buttler had a below-par performance, managing only 328 runs from 13 outings, and it reflected in the team's overall showing as Rajasthan finished rock-bottom in the points table.
IPL 2021 is set to begin on April 9, with a mouth-watering clash between defending champions Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), while Buttler and RR will face Punjab Kings in their opening match in Mumbai on April 11.
