SunRisers Hyderabad registered a massive 118-run victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Sunday's afternoon game at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. RCB captain Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to bowl. However, this turned out to backfire as SRH openers David Warner and Jonny Bairstow exploded at the beginning of the innings itself. The duo created several batting records on way to their 185-run stand. Both Bairstow and Warner scored centuries. Chasing a mammoth 232 for victory, RCB lost the plot very early on. Afghanistan's Mohammed Nabi, playing his first match this season, tore through the RCB batting order, picking up 4 wickets for 11 runs in his four overs. Colin de Grandhomme put up a 37-run resistance, but this was only good enough to delay the inevitable defeat. SRH now have two wins in three matches and are at the top of the table. RCB are yet to register a win after three games in IPL 2019. (SCORECARD)
