Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) registered a convincing 48-run win over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in match 37 of the Indian Premier Legaue (IPL) in Hyderabad on Sunday. David Warner was the star of the show as this 126 propelled SRH to a massive 209 for three. In the chase, Kolkata failed to make a good start to their innings as Hyderabad bowlers didn't let them free their arms. After Sunil Narine fell cheaply, Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa held the fort but not for long. Uthappa who kept the Kolkata innings alive for some time, perished for 53 in search for quick runs. Kolkata batsmen could not capitalise in the middle-overs as Manish Pandey and Yusuf Pathan failed to fire. Mohammed Siraj and Siddharth Kaul both finished for 2/26 in their stipulated four overs. After this win, Hyderabad will maintain their third position with 13 points but have closed the gap to the two leaders to one point. David Warner was adjudged the Man of the Match for his blistering 126 runs. (Scorecard)

19:04 IST: Hello and welcome to the live blog of the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders.
SRH, however, have in Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the rightful owner of the Purple Cap. He, along with young leg-spinner Rashid Khan, have been quite the test for most batting line-ups and the Hyderabad coaches would be hoping for a repeat. The batting, with Kane Williamson back and David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan in fine form promises much, so this should be quite a battle. The IPL is approaching the time when the success and failure would be counted with every match. So with the time of reckoning coming, this one will be something to see, as some of the best in the business will face off.Â
