Mayank Agarwal will be frustrated that they have let the game flow away after dominating for almost 16 overs but the last four overs saw the game slip away from Punjab. Before that, Punjab were on top in their bowling. They started well and then it was the spin duo of Liam Livingstone and Harpreet Brar that controlled the middle phase. Brar and Ellis took three wickets each but the latter went for too many runs and the last phase didn't help the overall score as well.

Hyderabad didn't really get going as they failed to get a good start and lost wickets at regular intervals. Abhishek Sharma played well but just when he tried to change the gears, he perished. At one stage even 130 was looking tough but a quick firey stand between Washington Sundar and Romario Shepherd helped them cross the 150-run mark and Hyderabad will be happy with how things panned out in the end. It was all possible due to the late quick partnership that Hyderabad were looking for early on. It is a decent score and Hyderabad have a good bowling line up as well. They will back themselves to defend this.

So, Punjab bossed the last over but it was Hyderabad who had the impetus in the last five overs as it went for 61 runs. Punjab will be disappointed that they let the game away after being in such a good position.
