Two in-form left-handers, Quinton de Kock and Evin Lewis were dismissed cheaply very early on and then Manish Pandey's abysmal form continued as after hitting a couple of boundaries, he just couldn't keep his composure. It was then the repair work done by the skipper KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda that brought Lucknow back into the contest. Both batters scored half-centuries but Hooda was dismissed soon after.
