Commonwealth Games 2014: Indian Weightlifter Santoshi Matsa Wins Bronze
Nigeria's 16-year-old Chika Amalaha won gold, Papua New Guinea's Dika Toua won silver and India's Santoshi Matsa won bronze in the women's 53 kg weightlifting at the Clyde Auditorium.

Indian weightlifter Santoshi Matsa won the bronze medal in the women's 53kg at the 2014 Commonwealth Games at the Clyde Auditorium here Friday. (Medals Tally)
The gold went to Nigeria's 16-year-old Chika Amalaha while Papua New Guinea's Dika Toua won the silver.
Amalaha, one of the youngest participants in the Games, had a total lift of 196 kg, a Games Record. She lifted 85 kg on her third and final attempt in snatch and 111kg in the clean and jerk.
Dika had a total lift of 193 kg, including 82 kg in snatch and 111kg in clean and jerk. She went for 115 kg in her final clean and jerk event but failed in her attempt.
Santoshi lifted a total of 188 kg -- 83 kg in snatch and 105 in clean and jerk. The 26-year-old Swati picked up a total of 183 kg. She did well in the snatch lifting 83 kg but faltered in the clean and jerk where she managed just 100 kg.
