20:33: QUOTES!
Man of the Match, Murali Vijay: Disappointed not to get a hundred. I am working on my bowling. The wicket was much better and was on the slower side.
Ajinkya Rahane: We needed to bat well as a unit. The wicket was a lot easier in the first innings, but got much more slower in the second innings. So, it became easier for us as we have experienced spinners. The bowlers were really up to the mark and fielding is something we give our 100%.
Elton Chigumbura: Losing three wickets in the first 11 overs is not good. We lost the game there. Something we have to work on in the next game. I thought it was a chaseable score.
20:21: That's it! Bhuvneshwar Kumar finishes with four for 33 to give India a 62-run win and an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Chasing 272 for a win, Zimbabwe were bundled out for 209 with opener Chamu Chibhabha top-scoring with 72.
20:07: WICKET! Bhuvneshwar Kumar gets his third as he removes Graeme Cremer for 27.

19:53: WICKET! Stuart Binny finally breaks the threatening stand as he gets Richmond Mutumbami (32).
19:43: Zimbabwe are 163 for six after 42 overs, require 109 off 58 balls. Graeme Cremer and Richmond Mutumbami have added 31 runs for the seventh wicket.

19:18: Bowlers have dried up the scoring. Only 10 runs scored in the last five overs.
19:00: WICKET! Harbhajan Singh joins the party with Sikandar Raza wicket. It was a flighted delivery outside off and Raza gets a thick outside edge and hits Robin Uthappa on pads, who dives to his right and takes the catch. The umpire says not out but Raza has decided to walk.
18:56: WICKET! India get the big wicket of Chamu Chibhabha (72). It was flatter ball on the stumps, Sikandar Raza works it on the leg side and goes for a run, but Chibhabha is sent back by Raza and gets a direct hit by Ajinkya Rahane and the danger-man departs.
18:49: Sikandar Raza joins Chamu Chibhabha in the middle and makes his intentions clear. Hammers Vijay for a huge six over long on.
18:32: WICKET! Sean Williams (20) gone, finally. Axar Patel gets a much needed wicket. The partnership was looking threatening. It was a fuller ball coming in, Williams misses the line of the delivery and the balls goes between the bat and pad and is cleaned up.
18:26: FIFTY! Chamu Chibhabha reaches his 12th half-century off 78 balls.
18:15: DROPPED! Sean Williams dropped again and this time on 12 by Murali Vijay at first slip off Harbhajan.
18:09: Chamu Chibhabha is keeping Zimbabwe's hopes alive as he nears his fifty. Chibhabha and Sean Williams have added 29 runs so far for the 4th wicket.
17:48: DROPPED! Sean Williams dropped on 2 at extra cover off Harbhajan Singh. It was a loopy ball outside off, Williams comes down the crease but mistimes it. The ball goes high in the air towards the cover region where Ajinkya Rahane and Manoj Tiwary almost collide taking the catch.
17:34: WICKET! Bhuvneshwar Kumar bags his second and it's a big wicket of first ODI centurion Elton Chigumbura. What a blinder from Ajinkya Rahane! It was a good length ball, a tad short, outside off, Chigumbura goes to defend but gets a thick outside edge as it flies to first slip. Rahane dives to his right and takes a superb catch. The umpire has gone up to see if the catch was taken cleanly and replays show Rahane has done well and taken a legitimate catch.
17:24: WICKET! Bhuvneshwar Kumar bags his fiftieth ODI wicket as he removes Hamilton Masakadza for five. It was a length ball outside off, shaping away, Masakadza gets a thick outside edge and Robin Uthappa takes a simple catch behind the stumps.

15:46: WICKET! Robin Uthappa fails again, out after scoring 13. Neville Madziva bowls yorker around off, Uthappa looks to squeeze it but is too late in doing so. The ball goes through and castles the stumps. India lose their fifth wicket as Uthappa fails to impress.
15:29: WICKET! Manoj Tiwary (22) follows suit. Donald Tiripano bowls a full length delivery on middle and leg. Tiwary flicks it straight to Brian Vitori at short fine leg.
15:25: WICKET! Zimbabwe's first ODI tormentor Ambati Rayudu departs after a 50-ball 41. Rayudu shimmies down the track and hits it straight to mid-wicket. The substitute, Malcolm Waller takes another catch in the deep. India have lost their third wicket. Sikandar Raza gets the big wicket.
15:17: Ambati Rayudu (39*) and Manoj Tiwary (19*) have added 40 runs off 45 balls for the third wicket. India are 199 for two after 41 overs.

Chamu Chibhabha bowls good length ball on middle and leg, Rahane looks to flick it to leg side but gets a leading edge to it. The ball balloons towards covers where Sikandar Raza takes a safe catch. That also brings an end to a brilliant opening stand.
14:07: India are 105 for no loss after 24 overs. This is India's best opening stand in Harare. Previous best was 99 between Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag in 2003.
13:58: FIFTY! Ajinkya Rahane reaches his 10th fifty in style, with a four towards mid wicket off Sean Williams. He took 73 balls to reach the landmark.
13:35: Murali Vijay edges a widish delivery but it lands safe behind cover. That was a half chance, Sean Williams ran back from cover but was at least a couple of yards short.
13:30: Ajinkya Rahane and Murali Vijay have taken India past 50 in fifteen overs.
13:10: Ten overs have been bowled and India are off to a solid start. Ajinkya Rahane (20*) and Murali Vijay (16*) need to accelerate the scoring now. Zimbabwe have used three bowlers so far.

12:05: TEAMS!
India: Ajinkya Rahane, Murali Vijay, Ambati Rayudu, Manoj Tiwary, Robin Uthappa, Kedar Jadhav, Stuart Binny, Axar Patel, Harbhajan Singh, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Dhawal Kulkarni
Zimbabwe: Vusi Sibanda, Chamu Chibhabha, Hamilton Masakadza, Elton Chigumbura, Sean Williams, Sikandar Raza, Richmond Mutumbami, Graeme Cremer, Donald Tiripano, Brian Vitori, Neville Madziva
12:03: TOSS! Zimbabwe elect to bowl against India. India remain unchanged, while there's one change in Zimbabwe playing XI. Pacer Tinashe Panyangara makes way for Nevill Madziva.
World No. 2 India barely managed to win against Zimbabwe, who are ranked way below at No.11. India were reduced to 87/5 before Ambati Rayudu and all-rounder Stuart Binny combined well and shouldered the responsibility of pulling the team out of trouble.
Rayudu (124 not out) and Binny (77) were involved in a record 160-run stand for the sixth wicket to take India a total of 255 for six after they were put in to bat by Zimbabwe. The duo surpassed MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh's 158-run partnership for the sixth wicket against Zimbabwe in 2005. While Binny was the aggressor, Rayudu's was a calculated effort. Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled a superb last over to avoid a heartbreak against skipper Elton Chigumbura's (104 not out) Zimbabwe and go down 0-1 in the short series. It was an honourable defeat for the hosts but Zimbabwe will look to be competitive in the remaining matches.
India will have to iron out few issues in the second game. Indian batting order completely failed in the absence of the seniors. The bench strength faltered especially when needed, struggling against a team which is not even in the top-10 of ODI rankings.
The Indian bowlers also did not rise up to the occasion. They were more than capable of halting the Zimbabweans much earlier than leaving it to the last over, and literally the last ball, for the victory. Also, the number of extras was a concern. India in total gave away 18 extras, including nine wides and eight byes while defending a modest total of 255.
