He said Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) president T C Mathew had informed him and congratulated him for his selection to the Indian team. The wicketkeeper-batsman, who was unaware of his selection, said he was at a loss of words when Mathew congratulated him.
"I asked him why I was being congratulated and he told me I had been selected to the Indian team," said Samson.
The young cricketer was all praise for KCA for giving him all support throughout his cricketing career. Samson plays for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League.
