Ankur and Sangeeta Bahl have a very different idea of what spending time together is all about. They plan to climb the seven highest mountains in the world - a feat matched by no other Indian couple.
The Bahl's have lofty dreams and they have already begun their journey - with Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and Mount Elbrus in Russia ticked off their list. "Two of them in Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Elbrus in Russia are already done. That leaves five more peaks to conquer," says Ankur. " We had done a lot of research on Kilimanjaro. The seven summits in the world (as an idea) was cropping up all the time and slowly, my wife also got involved. We both decided to scale the seven summits together."
Ankur, who is an ex-merchant navy officer and Sangeeta - an image consultant, tied the knot in 2000 and trekking has been an integral part of their lives since.
The biggest challenge though is yet to come as the couple head to Antartica to conquer Mount Vinson this month. If all goes according to plan, their expeditions will end at the pinnacle of the world - Mount Everest in May 2015.
