Julio versus Nerds - this has been the story of an Australian dressing room dating back to the Ashes tour of 1993. If you have played cricket for Australia, then you have to be characterized as either a 'Julio' or a 'Nerd'. (Indian Premier League 2015 complete coverage | Points Table | Stats)
The 'Julio'
The term 'Julio' is based on the Spanish singer Julio Iglesias. The 'Julios', in Australian cricket jargon, are men with flamboyance and whose personalities precede them on and off the field. They are fashion conscious and even on the field carry a halo of style around them, thanks to their trendy hair and intimidating the tattoos.
Remember, a 'Julio' is not just a style icon, he is also a master entertainer on the field and puts on a grand show every time. Shane Warne, for example, is one of the torch-bearers of the Julio clan.
The Indian Premier League has been a place for both style and substance. And taking a cue from the Aussies, here's the Julio XI of the IPL.

Shikhar Dhawan
The 'Jatman' from India is one of the most colourful characters. Dhawan has a lot going for him - the bald eagle haircut, the strapping physique and a host of tattoos adorning his arm. However, it the twirl of the mustache that's made him a popular figure in the cricketing circuit.

David Warner
Shikhar Dhawan's opening partner is a different type of Julio. He doesn't care about fashion much. He is a brawler and you don't want to mess with this diminutive Aussie. He hits the ball hard, has a word of advice for his opposition and at time, teaches them a lesson by hooking and punching at night clubs!

 Yuvraj Singh
India's darling cricketer. Perhaps the most loved as well. He may be out of favour with the Indian team management but with the fans, he is always a super hit. He's not into tattoos but his 'swag' on the field attracts one and all across the cricket world. Yuvraj also knows his game off-field. Before being detected with cancer, the man from Punjab was a regular in the IPL party scene.

Glenn Maxwell
The man is nicknamed 'The Big Show'. Flamboyant with the bat and sprightly at the press conferences, Glenn Maxwell is one of the leading members of the Julio clan.

Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard
The Trinidadian duo is one of the most entertaining in the IPL. Not only do they hit the ball long, take important wickets and grab gravity defying catches, they also light the scene up with their customary jigs and friendly banter!

Mitchell Johnson
Mitch Johnson steaming in is one of the most dangerous scenes in world cricket and the 'tash and the tattoos only add to the package. Fast and nasty - those two words describe him the best. He also adds a bit of lip service to top it off.

Lasith Malinga
What's more deadly? Those toe-crushing yorkers or the golden locks?
Lasith Malinga doesn't talk much. He runs in and slings the ball at you and breaks your toes. However, when the ever-smiling Sri Lankan darts the ball into your toes, the intimidation levels climb at a faster clip!
