"I have not taken any decision. I will do it in front of my nation," said Afridi at toss of the crucial game against Australia.
Afridi have done flip-flops on his retirement in the past. Earlier in the competition, he had said that the game Australia could be his last.
He was criticized severely after his team's loss to India and New Zealand earlier in the tournament. Pakistan Cricket Board chief has already made it clear that he will be removed as captain post the World T20.
The 36-year-old had made his international debut against Kenya in 1996.
