23:00 hrs IST:Here are the post-match comments
Sammy: They came at us in the Powerplay, we stuck to it. I knew it was a 200 wicket. Halfway in the game, I told my team they are 10 runs short. Even when we lost Gayle, the way Simmons and Charles played and Russell put the finishing touches, I'm very proud.
Dhoni: The dew starts setting in during the second innings. Our first few overs weren't bad but then spinners came in and they didn't have much on offer. Our spinners don't have a history of bowling well with the wet ball. One of the World Cups, we were knocked out because we didn't bowl well with the wet ball.
Lendl Simmons (MoM): I came under pressure and had come here for a reason - to deliver and I delivered. I enjoy batting here. The fast outfield also helps

Simmons' inclusion will boost the West Indies as his experience at the Wankhede and for Mumbai Indians will come in handy.
18:08 hrs IST: Jones, Sangakkara and Gavaskar have stated that India are the favorites heading into this clash. However, Sangakkara said that the match is evenly poised and one should not read too much into Darren Sammy's words that it is an 80-20 contest.
18:06 hrs IST: Dean Jones, former Australia batsman, said that Pawan Negi should be in the playing XI as he feels hitting a spinner in Twenty20s is the most difficult thing. He added that West Indies' fortune depended upon how Chris Gayle scored.
18:04 hrs IST: Before the start of the match, former India captain Sunil Gavaskar has said that Rahane should play in the semi-final. The Indian top order has struggled and in order to ease the pressure on Virat Kohli, Rahane should be in the top order. It is the clash of the West Indies flair versus the Indian juggernaut. It is the clash between teams which are familiar with each other. Heading into the match, even Sachin Tendulkar did not want to pick a clear winner. However, Dhoni's team have momentum ahead of this clash while the West Indies are determined to show they are no pushovers.
Yuvraj's Injury a Selection Conundrum
The injury of Yuvraj Singh has given the Indian team a selection conundrum. Manish Pandey has been called in as cover but it looks like Ajinkya Rahane could get his first game of the tournament.
Team director Ravi Shastri has said that the West Indies are a dangerous team and that they cannot be taken lightly. "I still believe we have played only 70 per cent to our abilities in this tournament. There are still areas where we can improve. Let's hope it happens tomorrow," Shastri said.
The Kohli Factor
"For a guy so small, he looks a very tall individual when it comes to confidence." These words of Sir Vivian Richards on Virat Kohli sum up the magnitude of the Indian batsman. He has in awesome form in Twenty20 Internationals in 2016, averaging close to 90. The West Indies will have to bowl out of their skins if they are to get Kohli out in this present form
'Haven't you Heard of Chris Gayle?'
These were the words spoken by skipper Darren Sammy when asked about the Kohli factor. He countered it with the Chris Gayle factor, who has a hundred at the Wankhede and is capable of changing the game totally.
"I think it is 80-20 to India, so it feels like David vs. Goliath contest but people tend to forget David won the fight, so it's something similar to that," Sammy said.
Heading into the contest, nobody is giving West Indies a chance. They have not a Twenty20 International against them since 2010 but the men from the Caribbean want to win back the respect which was absent heading into the tournament.
This contest at the Wankhede will be a thriller, considering that the wicket will be friendly for batting. It is a clash between two powerhouses in this format.
