Bangladesh won the opening qualifying round match by eight runs with Taskin bowling the final over in a closely-fought encounter.
"The ICC is working with the Bangladesh cricket team management to confirm times for the independent testing of both bowlers at the ICC-accredited testing centre in Chennai," read an ICC statement.
"The ICC regulations state '...every reasonable effort shall be made for the Independent Assessment to be carried out and the Independent Assessment Report furnished within a period of 7 days from the date of receipt of the Match Officials' Report."
"Both players are free to continue bowling until the results of testing are known," the release further stated.
Former captain and current Bangladesh manager Khaled Mahmood Sujan said that their focus is on the next game against Ireland.
"ICC has experssed some concerns about their action but at this point in time, we will not make any further comments in this regard. The team is completely focussed on our next match against Ireland," Sujan told PTI on Thursday.
