World Cup: Petition Filed Against Pakistan's Poor Performance
Pakistan have lost both their matches in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, currently being played in Australia and New Zealand. The 1992 champions lost their opening match to arch-rivals India before going down to West Indies.

Lahore High Court (LHC) Monday admitted a petition against the poor performance of the Pakistani team during the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup.
The team has lost both its matches so far, the first was to India and the second to the West Indies. (Shoaib Akhtar Slams Misbah's Captaincy)
The petitioner has named Prime Minster Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Ahmed Khan and PCB board member Najam Sethi as respondents in the case, Dawn online reported.

The petitioner has questioned the team's dismal performance in the World Cup 2015 and has asked the court to investigate the possible causes behind the collapse.
LHC's Justice Ijazul Hassan will hear the case February 24.
