1. NO MICHAEL SCHUMACHER
But there will be no Michael Schumacher in Formula One, come 2013. The German came out of retirement in 2010 for what was a very unsuccessful stint with Mercedes, with not a single win, and only one podium finish. But this is it, for the 7-time world champion... Schumi does plan to become a karting test driver in the new year
2. LEWIS HAMILTON TO MERCEDES
Hamilton ended his 6 year long sting with McLaren to sign a 3 year contract with Mercedes, where he will have to fill the rather large shoes of a certain Michael Schumacher. Many are calling the move a disaster, while others feel it will only help the Brit grow as a driver, which wasn't possible at McLaren, because of its almost parent like control over him
3. SERGIO PEREZ TO MCLAREN
Sauber's Sergio Perez will give Jenson Button company at McLaren in the 2013 season. The Mexican Wonderkid, as he's called, had an impressive 2012, with 3 podium finishes. McLaren confirmed a multi-year deal with the 22 year old after Lewis Hamilton's decision to leave them
4. NICO HULKENBERG TO SAUBER
German Nico Hulkenberg will join the Sauber team, after what was a successful 1 year stint with Sahara Force India. A 4th place finish in Belgium was his best showing... In the season ending race in Sao Paulo, the 25 year old led for a large part of the race before a collision with Lewis Hamilton. After a drive through penalty, Hulkenberg finished 5th
5. NO INDIAN DRIVER
With Hispania putting their team up for sale, Narain Karthikeyan's F1 future seems uncertain. And that means there could be no Indian driver in the 2013 season. HRT, with which Karun Chandhok made his F1 debut, hasn't scored a single point since its inception in 2010
