I have always been a Bagan supporter: Amitabh Bachchan

The legendary Amitabh Bachchan described himself as a "Mohun Bagan supporter" on the auspicious occasion of 100 years celebration of their IFA Shield victory.

In a message to Mohun Bagan on the occasion, Bachchan said the club made him remember his old days when he used to work in Kolkata.

"For the first time, when I had landed in Kolkata at Howrah Stadium with my father, there was a Mohun Bagan match. I remember going there and watching it," he said.

"When you are in Kolkata, supporting Mohun Bagan becomes an automatic choice. I want to see Mohun Bagan go further and get more success," Bachchan said.

Mohun Bagan on Friday concluded the centenary celebration of their historic victory in 1911.
