VVS Laxman (72 not out) has recorded his 51st half-century in Tests - his ninth against the West Indies.
Laxman is averaging 53.72 against the West Indies - 1343 in 18 Tests. His tally includes three centuries. Laxman has maintained his excellent record while batting in the third innings of a Test match, totalling 2269 in 49 innings, averaging 58.17 He has registered four centuries and 15 fifties.
Under Dhoni's captaincy, Laxman is averaging 49.83 - 1545 runs in 37 innings, including two hundreds and 14 fifties.
Virat Kohli (26 not out) has posted his highest innings in Tests, outstripping the 15 at Kingston in June 2011.
Laxman and Kohli were associated in a partnership of 75 (unbroken) for the fourth wicket - India's highest against West Indies at Bridgetown, surpassing the 53 between Sunil Gavaskar and Jaisimha in April 1971.
Abhinav Mukund (48 off 81 balls) has recorded his highest Test innings, surpassing the 25 at Kingston in the present series.
