After two matches, the defending champions are second in the IPL 2021 league table, beating Kolkata Knight Riders by 10 runs on Wednesday after losing to Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first game.
Hardik put in a below-average display vs KKR, scoring only 15 runs in 17 deliveries. The all-rounder didn't bowl, but a four-wicket haul by Rahul Chahar and a half-century by Suryakumar Yadav was enough to register a win.
For their third fixture of the season, MI face SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) on April 17 in Chennai.
