Phil Salt | 5 | 7 | 1 | 0 | 71.42 |
1.3 OUT! CAUGHT! Phil Salt's struggle in this series continues! Hardik Pandya lands it a touch fuller than a length, around off, and Phil Salt plants his front leg ahead. Doesn't quite lean into the shot and thumps it hard. Hits it flat and straight to Abhishek Sharma at cover who takes a very good catch getting on top of his toes. England are rocked early and are 7/1! 7/1
Ben Duckett | 51 | 28 | 7 | 2 | 182.14 |
10 OUT! CAUGHT! Oh, Ben Duckett has thrown it all away! Cleverly bowled by Axar Patel as this is tossed up a bit slower and on a dragged length around middle and leg. Duckett steps down the track but can't quite get to the pitch of the ball and still goes through with the slog. One hand comes off the handle and the ball is hit straight down the throat of Abhishek Sharma at cow corner and he makes no mistake. Duckett departs for 51 off 28 and England are suddenly 87/3 after 10 overs. 87/3

Jos Buttler C | 24 | 22 | 1 | 1 | 109.09 |
9 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Sanju Samson has gone up in celebration and is certain that there is an edge on that one but the umpire disagrees. Not much excitement from the bowler either but Suryakumar Yadav does opt for the review. Varun Chakravarthy fires this one in fuller and around off, the ball skids through. Jos Buttler goes for the reverse sweep but fails to connect and the ball just sneaks under the willow. Samson with a sharp low take and the third umpire is called in. UltraEdge takes some time to build up and shows that there is a clear spike when the ball is next to the bat and the decision is overturned. A huge review and India have the big fish! Even Kevin Pietersen, one of the on-air commentators read Buttler's look of guilt as the check was going on. 83/2
Harry Brook | 8 | 10 | 0 | 0 | 80 |
12.4 OUT! TIMBER! Harry Brook gets out to spin, yet again! A shake of the head from Brook as he trudges back for 8 (10). First wicket for Ravi Bishnoi in this series and it's a big one. He bowls it full and outside off, Harry Brook plants his front leg out and looks to sweep it square from well in front. Doesnt quite reach to it and only manages to get an inside edge that rolls back into the stumps. 108/4
Liam Livingstone | 43 | 24 | 1 | 5 | 179.16 |
17.1 OUT! CAUGHT! The bowling change has worked wonders and Liam Livingstone will feel he should have done better there. Hardik Pandya goes full and pitches the ball up right in the slot on middle, Livingstone clears the front leg and heaves it flat and down to long on where Dhruv Jurel takes a simple catch. Livingstone departs for 43 off 24 and England have just one wicket in hand. 147/9
Jamie Smith Wk | 6 | 4 | 0 | 1 | 150 |
13.3 OUT! CAUGHT! Varun Chakravarthy makes amends! This is a big wicket for India! Varun Chakravarthy drops it short and offers no flight whatsoever this time, around middle, Jamie Smith rocks back to pull but doesn't quite time it right. Hits it flat and in front of deep mid-wicket. Dhruv Jurel is quick to charge in and dives ahead to take a solid catch. 115/5
Jamie Overton | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
13.4 OUT! BOWLED'EM! Varun Chakravarthy gets two-in-two and will be on a Hat-trick on the next ball! This is exceptional bowling! Fires the straight one, on a fuller length and quicker, at the stumps, Jamie Overton plants his front leg across and looks to sweep it fine but misses. The ball skids through and crashes into the stumps. The wheels are now coming off for England! 115/6
Brydon Carse | 3 | 4 | 0 | 0 | 75 |
15.4 OUT! CAUGHT! England going down in a hurry and Varun Chakravarthy has four wickets to his name! Brings out the leg break now, bowling it fuller and on the pads, Brydon Carse gets down on one knee and inside the line to pick it up and whip it away but is hitting against the turn and to a longer boundary. The ball gets lobbed up high toward deep backward square leg and Tilak Varma there takes a simple catch. 127/7
Jofra Archer | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
16 OUT! BOWLED'EM! Through the defenses and Jofra Archer cannot believe he's been cleaned up here. A five-star showing from the man in form Varun Chakravarthy and he picks up a stellar five-wicket haul. Just slows it up a touch and brings the line closer to the off-stump line. Keeps it full and bowls the wrong'un, Archer leans on to block down the line but the ball turns in, beats the inside edge and goes on to rattle the furniture behind him. England in a spot of real bother here. 127/8

Sanju Samson Wk | 3 | 6 | 0 | 0 | 50 |

Jofra Archer just strolls in and bangs in a short ball over middle at 145.7 kph and gets the ball to hurry through. Samson camps back and backs away to pull it over long on but mistimes it badly. The ball goes just over mid on where Adil Rashid just takes a few steps back and takes a simple catch. India 16/1! 16/1
Abhishek Sharma | 24 | 14 | 5 | 0 | 171.42 |

Brydon Carse hits the deck hard and bowls it at the stumps, Abhishek Sharma comes down the pitch and backs away to open up the off side but ends up skiing it a mile high and over extra cover. Jofra Archer at mid off circles around the high ball and seems to have just misjudged it in the end but manages to leap behind him and reverse-cup it wonderfully. Sharma departs for 24 off 14 and India now 31/2. 31/2
Suryakumar Yadav C | 14 | 7 | 1 | 1 | 200 |
5.1 OUT! CAUGHT! Mark Wood comes back into the attack and makes an immediate impact. India in some sort of trouble now at 48/3 as they lose their skipper. Phil Salt settles under it and takes the simple catch. 48/3
Tilak Varma | 18 | 14 | 1 | 1 | 128.57 |
8 OUT! CLEANED'EM UP! Adil Rashid gets the big fish in his very first over! A perfect delivery to get the key wicket of in-form Tilak Varma! He tosses the ball up, just outside off and gets it to bite the surface and turn back in viciously with some extra bounce. Tilak Varma goes deep in the crease to keep it out but is undone by the turn. Misses the ball completely and it sneaks through the inside edge to hit the top of middle. India slip further down now. 68/4
Hardik Pandya | 40 | 35 | 1 | 2 | 114.28 |
18.1 OUT! CAUGHT! That should be the final nail in the coffin! Jamie Overton lands it on a length, on middle and off, Hardik Pandya doesn't quite get under the line and swings straight. Hits it off the lower half of the bat and doesn't manage to get the distance. The ball goes straight into the hands of Jos Buttler at long off. 131/7
Washington Sundar | 6 | 15 | 0 | 0 | 40 |
12.1 OUT! CAUGHT! The signs were ominous and India have now lost half their side. Jamie Overton takes pace off, bowling it fuller and outside the line of off stump. Washington Sundar tries to up the ante and tries to loft it over mid off but is undone by the lack of pace. One hand comes off the handle and the ball gets lobbed right up over mid off. Jos Buttler takes a few steps back and pouches it safely, putting Sundar out of his misery. And Overton finally has something to smile about. 85/5
