Heel injury may have ruled out Australia's new-found pace sensation Pat Cummins for the opening Tests against India December-January but he remains determined to make a comeback for the fourth Test.
The 18-year-old pacer was quoted by Sydney Morning Herald as saying that he expects to make full recovery and has a plan in place. "The original scan a few weeks ago was all clear, so we were pretty confident that it (a fracture) wasn't there. But I found out [Tuesday] when it was still causing some pain and it wasn't great news. It's a stress fracture on the bone, but right on the minor side of the scale," he said. Cummins made news when he ravaged South Africa in his debut Test last month. The bowler however has no regrets for pushing himself to the hilt. "I think anyone would have pushed on,'' he said. "Most blokes would run through brick walls for Australia. So a small bruised heel is not going to stop you." (Also read: Cummins to give name for IPL auction)
