Sydney:
Australia skipper Michael Clarke slammed a triple hundred on Day 3 of the second Test against India in Sydney.
Clarke surpassed Sir Donald Bradman's record of highest score by an Australian captain on home soil. He played 432 deliveries and hit 37 boundaries and a six to achieve this feat. Bradman had scored 270 runs against England in 1937.
He became the 21st cricketer and seventh Australian player to score a triple ton.
The Australian captain also surpassed VVS Laxman's 281 for the highest individual score in Australia-India Tests.
He received a standing ovation when he eclipsed the 109-year highest score at the SCG, fittingly in its 100th Test match, of 287, registered by Englishman Reg Foster.
