India Women will be disappointed with their bowling effort. They started well getting rid of both the openers quite early. Then the spinners came into play and provided a couple of more breakthroughs. However, it all went downhill from there. They just did not have any answer to the power-hitting of Grace Harris and Ashleigh Gardner. They were also a bit sloppy in the field giving away a few overthrows and allowing the batters to put more pressure on them. Deepti Sharma, Devika Vaidya, Anjali Sarvani and Shafali Verma all got one wicket each, but except for Devika Vaidya, all were expensive. Now, they have a mammoth total to chase to save some pride and finish the series 3-2.
Australia Women have put on another solid batting display here. They found themselves in some early trouble losing both their openers for cheap scores. It was then Ellyse Perry and Tahlia McGrath who steadied the ship for them before getting dismissed in quick succession. However, they set the perfect platform for the power hitters to come in and they did not disappoint. Grace Harris and Ashleigh Gardner were on fire and smashed it all around the park. They added 129 runs off just 62 balls and both batters scored half-centuries and remained unbeaten.
