Team India is unlikely to change their batting composition for the third Test match against Australia in Perth which starts on Friday.
There has been much speculation that India, who are trailing 2-0 in the four-match series, would call upon Rohit Sharma to sort out their middle-order problems but it now seems unlikely. This would mean that Virat Kohli, who has so far managed just 43 runs in his four innings down under, will get another chance to establish himself as a Test batsman denying Rohit Sharma a Test debut.
A dismal batting display in the first two Test matches has meant that Team India's dream of winning a Test series in Australia has been wiped out.
Talking about the bowling line-up however, skipper MS Dhoni said that the final decision depends on the track on the day of the match.
"The Perth track, weather and conditions are different from Sydney and Melbourne. We have to see how much grass is there. Accordingly we will decide about bowling combination", said the Indian skipper.
India's bowling coupled with some bizarre field placements has struggled to contain the Australian line-up which itself was under much scrutiny when the series began.
