Mahendra Singh Dhoni Retires From Tests: Emotional Fans Flood Twitter
Mahendra Singh Dhoni retired from Test cricket on Tuesday after helping India draw the Boxing Day Test at the MCG. Some fans reacted with shock while some felt it was it was time Virat Kohli took over.

From lamenting how badly they will miss Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the longer version of the game, to lauding his "perfect timing for retirement", fans showed a variety of emotions as they took to Twitter soon after the Indian captain called curtains on his Test career Tuesday. A Dhoni follower whose twitter name is Despicable Me wrote: "Anyway this has come sooner than expected..Now a keeper with matching skills has to be found. That would take time #DhoniRetires."
Isha Ganeriwal, another Dhoni fanatic, tweeted he will be missed and that no one could ever match his style of leadership. (Sachin Tendulkar Leads Tributes)
"Oh @msdhoni You'll be badly missed in Test Matches. A great captain & a leader..No one can match ur style..Sad! Sad! #DhoniRetires," tweeted Ganeriwal.

"It's the right time for @imVkohli to take over the India team.. #DhoniRetires," tweeted Prayas Chatterjee.
Digvijay Sarnobat, however, believed that it was the perfect time for Dhoni to retire and posted: "You either die as a Hero or live long enough to see yourself become Villain. Perfect timing for retirement #DhoniRetires".
Dhoni has scored 4876 runs from 90 Test matches at an average of 38.09.
India became the No.1 team in the International Cricket Council's Test rankings under Dhoni's leadership. Of the 90 Tests he played, Dhoni led India in 60 matches.
Dhoni is also the first Indian batsman to complete 10,000 runs or more as captain in international cricket, joining Ricky Ponting (15,440), Graeme Smith (14,878), Stephen Fleming (11,561) and Allan Border (11,062).
