Saturday will test the patience and perseverance of both teams. On a pitch that has not been kind to bowlers or stroke-making, West Indies batsmen will have to show grit over Calypso charm while India's bowlers have to bowl a nagging line and expect their fielders to convert every half-chance.
India are playing with three pacers and two spinners. The ball is just 16 overs old and Virat Kohli, who became the first Indian captain to smash a double hundred overseas, will have just one mantra from the word go - attack, attack, attack. With men surrounding the bat and additional men at slips on Friday, Kohli have already told the West Indians what to expect.
The West Indies trail by 535 runs and have nine batsmen to first avoid the ignominy of a follow-on. West Indies, who haven't beaten India in a Test match since October 2002, will now have to summon their 'big hundred' batsmen. And according to NDTV expert Sunil Gavaskar, the hosts don't have too many of that class and caliber.
