Moeen Ali was 26 not out and Stuart Broad 0 not out after Joe Root's superb knock of 134.
Australia hold the Ashes after thrashing England 5-0 on home soil but they have not won an Ashes series in Britain for 14 years.

Moeen Ali the man of the moment didn't disappoint his side, tail guided him well to put up a challenging total for the visitors. Runs have come in all shapes - through edges, lucky strokes and some delightful shots. Starc gets a 5-wicket haul and he was impressive as expected. Will Aussies answer them with a good fight?
