The Indian ace cueist defeated Baek 100-5, 102-72, 101-0, 101-23 in a lop-sided match. He will next take on Suriya Suwanasingh of Thailand.
Advani started in remarkable form, scoring his first break of 79 in the first frame and followed it up with breaks of 57 and 81 in the two consecutive frames.
"As I had mentioned earlier, there is a higher level of unpredictability in the 100Up format, which while it makes it more exciting is also way more challenging.
"Kicking off the Championships with strong starts, I am beginning to feel more comfortable on the tables," said Advani after the end of Day 2.
On the opening day, Advani had won a double-header defeating Sri Lankan's Mansoor Mohammed Mubeen and Anil Rohana in straight frames as well.
