Brad Evans sticks to the short-ball plan, banging it in around off. Shanto suddenly charges down the track, looking to muscle it over the leg side, but the stroke is rushed. He only manages the faintest of tickles through to Tafadzwa Tsiga, who completes a simple catch behind the stumps. The ball takes the leading edge and lobs up towards silly mid off, where Shadman Islam leaps up, gets his hand above his head to grab a good catch. He bowls a probing back-of-a-length delivery around off, using the angle to take it away from the left-hander after pitching. Ben Curran stays rooted in his crease and feels for the ball inside the line. It's a tentative poke, and the outside edge is found. The catch flies at a comfortable height to second slip, where Najmul Hossain Shanto makes no mistake. A fine opening stand of 89 comes to an end, and Zimbabwe now trail by 51 runs.  89/1

Bennett shimmies down the track and ends up getting too close to the ball. As a result, he does not get the elevation he is looking for. Hits it flat back towards the bowler. It comes around his right shoulder. Taijul sways away from the line of the ball to his left but manages to cling onto the ball. The 107-run stand has been broken. 98 OUT! TAKEN! Taijul Islam gets his third wicket now. He bowls a harmless delivery, full and around leg. Craig Ervine gets down on one knee for the sweep but gets a bit of a top edge. It flies straight to deep backward leg, where Hasan Mahmud is standing quite a few yards ahead of the ropes and takes a fine catch. Ervine will be kicking himself for finding the fielder with that one, as he could have hit it anywhere in the field. Craig Ervine calls for the second, but Tsiga hesitates a bit before taking off, and that is enough for his downfall. Hasan Mahmud from square leg is quick to get to the ball and throws it on the bounce to the keeper, where Amite Hasan breaks the stumps with Tsiga not even in the frame. A fat outside edge is found and the ball spoons up from the shoulder of the bat towards gully where Brian Bennett takes a dolly. Zimbabwe strike early in the day. Shadman Islam is drawn forward into his defensive stroke but the ball moves away to catch the outside edge. Full and angling into the batter, on off. Mominul Haque is forced to play with the angle and tries to drive it to the off side, but plays it away from the body. The ball lands and just nips away slightly to take the outside edge. The ball flies flatly to the left of the third slip fielder. Brad Evans flings himself and takes an insane catch while being airborne by stretching both hands to his left. Now, in such cases, the ball can easily pop out once the elbows hit the ground. Evans lands hard but holds the ball in his hand nicely. Bangladesh go further into turmoil as they are 46/3, trailing by 224 runs.  46/3

Blessing Muzarabani just takes a break from the short stuff and bowls a fuller delivery, drifting down the leg side. Mushfiqur Rahim couldn't resist the temptation to flick it away. The ball angles a bit too much for Rahim's liking and it catches a faint tickles off Rahim's bat into the gloves of Tafadzwa Tsiga behind the stumps.  117/5
