Victorious skipper of Zimbabwe - Richard Ngarava expresses that winning his first Test as skipper provides a wonderful feeling, and he remains hopeful that the team can maintain this winning streak in their consecutive series. He mentions that expanding the pre-series training pool from 25 to around 40 players proves crucial, as it allows selectors to find and field the finest batters and bowlers in the country. Ngarava praises Brian Bennett as one of the lineup's top performers but highlights that total collective contributions from the rest of the batters are what drive this successful result. Furthermore, he shares immense pride in Newman's rapid development, predicting a massive future for him in Zimbabwean cricket.

The final demolition - Any hopes of a post-lunch miracle vanished in a heartbeat as Zimbabwe's bowlers came out to finish the job. There was simply no escape for the Bangladesh lower order as wickets tumbled in a flash. They turned up the heat, ripping through the tail. Richard Ngarava picked three quick wickets, while the relentless Blessing Muzarabani ended with spectacular figures of 4/65. It was a complete, clinical performance from the hosts, sealing a historic and thumping victory by an innings and 85 runs.

Muzarabani’s morning magic - The morning session of Day 3 belonged entirely to Blessing Muzarabani. The towering speedster bowled a fiery spell, removing Mahmudul Hasan Joy and the dangerous Mominul Haque in quick succession to shatter the visitors' confidence. A brief 61-run resistance between skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mushfiqur Rahim gave Bangladesh a temporary breathing room, but Nyamhuri returned to clean up the skipper. In a final, devastating blow right at the stroke of Lunch, Muzarabani induced an edge from Mushfiqur to leave Bangladesh gasping at 117/5, still trailing by 153 runs and staring down the barrel of defeat.

A shaky start to the survival mission - With a massive deficit on their shoulders, Bangladesh's second innings was always going to be a brutal test of character. They needed a solid, calming foundation to erase the deficit, but the horror script remained unchanged. Shadman Islam fell cheaply before stumps on Day 2, leaving the visitors limping at 40/1 overnight. As the sun rose on Day 3, the assignment for the Tigers was clear, bat long and survive. However, Zimbabwe’s bowlers smelled blood and were ready to hunt.

Zimbabwe piled on the mountain - If Bangladesh found the conditions unplayable, Zimbabwe showed them how to master African soil. The hosts turned a steady platform into complete domination, piling up a massive 410 runs. Innocent Kaia was the star of the show, converting his overnight score into a magnificent maiden Test century of 140, while Brian Bennett, Craig Ervine, and Wessly Madhevere rubbed salt into the wounds with fluent half-centuries. Bangladesh’s lone warrior was left-arm spinner Taijul Islam, who bowled his heart out for a sensational 7/138, but Zimbabwe still walked away with a mountain of a 270-run lead.

The Harare horror show for Bangladesh - Zimbabwe win by an innings and 85 runs. This is also Zimbabwe's biggest margin of victory in Tests. It all started with a relentless Zimbabwe pace attack on Day 1. Bangladesh walked right into a storm, getting completely folded for a measly 140 runs after being 113/2 at one stage. Newman Nyamhuri and Brad Evans made the ball talk. Only Mominul Haque showed some fight with a gritty 60, but once he was dismissed, the middle and lower order collapsed like a pack of cards, losing eight wickets for just 27 runs.
