Only 'God' can make hundred 100s: Sehwag on Sachin's feat

New Delhi:

Delhi Daredevils captain Virender Sehwag hailed Sachin Tendulkar's recent accomplishment of scoring hundred international hundreds and said only 'God' can make such an achievement possible.

During an exclusive interview with NDTV when Sehwag was asked for his reaction on Sachin's 100th ton, he said: "Only god can do it."

Sehwag will play his first match of the IPL 5 tonight against Kolkata Knight Riders which is led by his India opening partner and close friend Gautam Gambhir. "It's a nice change. He's a very close friend and we get along really well. It's good that we play our first match against each other."

Sehwag also said that his team is well equipped to rise up of the challenges this season. "We didn't play well last year; it is as simple as that. Our batting was not able to chase 130-140 runs. But this year we have strengthened our batting," Sehwag said.

When asked about which team is likely to win the title this year, Sehwag said: "Delhi Daredevils, Delhi Daredevils and Delhi Daredevils."

Sehwag apart from being a demolishing opener is also a useful part-time bowler, which is an asset in this format of the game. When asked if his bowling skills have been under-utilised by MS Dhoni in Team India, he said: "I don't think so. It depends how a captain uses his part-time bowlers and I think Dhoni has done that well."
