While cricket may not be a popular sport in the United States, the 28-year-old artist was already aware of Tendulkar's fame and prowess. "Had a great time @ the IPL ceremony in INDIA. Met Sachin Tendulkar, one of the BEST cricket players in the world,"she wrote on her Twitter account on Friday. She even posted a picture with the legendary batsman, believed to have been taken after the ceremony in Chennai on Wednesday.
The Grammy award winner earlier wrote that it was great to meet Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra. "lovely to meet you! Can't wait to host you in Los Angeles...also can't wait to raid your closet."
