Chennai Super Kings (CSK) players Ravindra Jadeja and Suresh Raina posed in the new CSK jersey ahead of the 14th season of Indian Premier League (IPL). Both Jadeja and Raina have been crucial to CSK's success in the past and have played key roles in the team's IPL title wins. CSK have won the IPL in 2010, 2011 and 2018. While Jadeja is returning from an injury he sustained during India's tour of Australia, Raina comes back into the side after missing IPL 2020 due to personal reasons.Â

CSK begin their IPL season in Mumbai against the runners-up of IPL 2020 Delhi Capitals on April 10.Â
CSK did not have the best season in 2020 as they missed out on a playoffs spot for the first time in the IPL seasons they have played in and finished sixth.Â
Led by MS Dhoni, CSK have got new recruits in IPL veteran Robin Uthappa, England off-spinner Moeen Ali and all-rounder Krishnappa Gowtham among others.Â
Jadeja was one of the highlights in an otherwise dismal season for the three-time champions last season as he scored 232 runs from 14 matches at a strike rate of 171.85 and picked up six wickets.
Overall, Jadeja has 2159 runs from 184 matches for CSK in addition to 114 wickets.Â
Raina, CSK's long-time No. 3 batsman, has 5368 IPL runs from 193 matches with one century and 38 half-centuries.
Raina, who retired from international cricket alongside Dhoni in August 2020, has led CSK in the past.
He had also led Gujarat Lions franchise to the IPL playoffs in the 2016 season, when CSK were suspended over corruption allegations.
