Live Score: India vs Australia updates
So Australia have a lead of 97 runs now. They would look to score quickly now to add more runs to their tally. They would look to score like quick 200 more runs and let India bat on day 5 to have a result. Should be an interesting innings now, join us back for that!
The Indian tail wagged in a bit today as they got near the Australian total. Ashwin scored a gritty fifty as he was supported by Bhuvneshwar. Australian bowlers bowled though on a good batting wicket. Starc was the pick of the bowlers as he grabbed three wickets while Harris, Lyon and Watson grabbed a couple each.
India have fought back hard to Australia's first innings total. They didn't get off to a good start as Vijay was out in the very first over. There was a partnership between Rahul and Rohit but the latter couldn't score big. Rahul and Kohli added a good partnership as both of them scored tons. Then there was a bit of a collapse in the middle order.
OUT! That's it, India are all out! Short of a length ball, Yadav goes for the big hit over the leg side but this time he gets a top edge. The ball flies over him and goes back. Haddin calls for the catch, goes to his right and takes a couple of steps forward, eventually dives forward and completes the catch. India all out for 475!
Good length ball on off, Yadav covers the line and defends.
Third new ball taken now!
FOUR! Pure arrogance! Fullish around off, Yadav lofts it hard over the mid on region for a boundary. What a way to get off the mark, especially if you're the number eleven batsman.
Length ball outside off, Shami goes for the big hit over the leg side but the ball flies over covers off the leading edge. It lands safely and the batsmen take one. Frustration continues for Steven Smith.
Third new ball is due...
Landed outside off, Shami stays back in his crease and defends.
