Surprised? Don't be!
The Liverpool football stars took on each other and showed off their cricketing skills Down Under. Liverpool is in South Australia for their pre-season tour and these three stars took it upon themselves to show 'how it's done' to Cook & Co. ahead of the Edgbaston Test. The three Reds pitted themselves against each other and took turns to face some deliveries. Milner, who was a county cricketer during his teens, showed glimpses of his talent with the bat, while Lallana showcased some sublime talent with the bat. Clyne however, looked more like a number eleven with the willow in hand.
Cook and Trevor Bayliss are facing some selection issues before the third Ashes Test. The English batsmen had faltered miserably against the fiery Aussie pace - their egos are bruised and the techniques shaken. Cook might breathe a sigh of relief to know that his country's premier footy stars are waiting in the wings to help him out!
