New Delhi:
India's Somdev Devvarman has withdrawn his entry from the Australian Open, due to a shoulder problem, that saw him pull out from last week's Chennai Open as well.
Craig Tiley, tournament director of the Australian Open, has confirmed that Somdev along with Tommy Robredo of Spain was the latest withdrawal from the men's draw.
This is not good news for the Indian tennis player, who will need to be consistent and improve his ranking if he has to qualify for the singles draw at the London Olympics.
