India vs Sri Lanka Tests From August 12, Kumar Sangakkara's Farewell in Colombo Match
Although BCCI is yet to confirm the itinerary, the media release issued by Sony Six has confirmed the schedule of the tour to Sri Lanka.

Indian cricket team will play the first of the three-Test series against Sri Lanka in Galle from August 12-16 according to a media release issued by the hosts broadcasters Sony Six.
Although BCCI is yet to confirm the itinerary, the media release issued by Sony Six states that the second Test match will be played at the Colombo Oval from August 20-24 while the final Test match of the series will be played in Pallekele from August 28-September 1.
On Sony Six's association with Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), Chairman Sidath Wettimuny said,"Sony Six has established itself as one of the most exciting sports channels in the industry and we are thrilled to be associated with them for this test series."
"The channel's track record in showcasing premier sporting properties further cemented our decision in making them our broadcaster partner in bringing the high-quality sporting action. Through this deal, we believe we will be able to expand and reach out to a wider and newer audience," Wettimuny added.
It is worth adding that Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara had announced that the second Test of this series will be his farewell match.
Itinerary (as confirmed by broadcaster):
August 12-16: 1st Test (Galle)
August 20-24: 2nd Test (Colombo)
August 28-31: 3rd Test (Kandy, Pallekele).
