It was an even second day for both India and Sri Lanka in the second Test at the P Sara Oval in Colombo. Wriddhiman Saha scored his second consecutive fifty and India managed 393. All eyes were on Kumar Sangakkara and he deighted the crowd with some wonderful shots and he looked good for a big score. However, on 32, Ashwin dismissed him for the third time in the series and thanks to Kaushal Silva's fifty, Sri Lanka ended the day on 140/3, still trailing by 253 runs.(Sangakkara Gets Guard of Honour)
It was an improved bowling display from the Indian bowlers on a pitch that was providing a bit of extra bounce. Ashwin continuously troubled the batsmen while Umesh Yadav bowled a very good first spell. However, the situation could have been even better for India had Stuart Binny not overstepped when he managed to get the edge from Silva. He has still not taken a wicket in his Test career and the wait continues.(Sangakkara Fails to Convert Start)

For Sri Lanka, Angelo Mathews will now be the key along with Dinesh Chandimal. Lahiru Thirimanne is looking solid on 29 and he will be aiming to carry on.(Silva Eyes Solid First Hour)
