Test specialists Zaheer Khan, Cheteshwar Pujara leave for South Africa
Test specialists have been sent to South Africa well ahead of the start of the two-match series on December 18 at Johannesburg to help them get acclimatised to the trying conditions.

India pacer Zaheer Khan and prolific batsman Cheteshwar Pujara left for South Africa by an early morning flight along with three other Test specialists to get acclimatised to the conditions ahead of the two-match Test series from December 18 in the Rainbow Nation. Zaheer, Pujara, opener Murali Vijay, reserve wicketkeeper Wridhiman Saha and leg-spinner Amit Mishra could not go with the ODI squad earlier due to visa issues, according to Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Sanjay Patel. The Test team members get a chance to prepare for the much-awaited series through a two-day warm-up game at Benoni against South African Invitation XI on December 14 and 15. (Jacques Kallis: A player South Africa deserved)
India are to start the tour with the first ODI at Johannesburg on Thursday with the third and final match to be held on December 11 at Centurion after which the ODI specialists would return home.
