Stepthen Cook to lead South African Invitation XI against India in tour game
The South African Invitation XI will play India on December 14 and 15, ahead of the two-test series that starts on December 18.
Stepthen Cook has been chosen as captain of the South African Invitation XI that will play India in a two-day tour match at Sahara Willowmoore Park on December 14 and 15.
"As always, these matches against international touring sides offer the opportunities for players to show their worth at a higher level," said SA Invitation XI coach, Vinnie Barnes according to an official Cricket South Africa press release.
"Several of them showed outstanding form in the opening round of Sunfoil Series fixtures. Stephen and Stiaan van Zyl both scored centuries while Temba Bavuma fell just short. Beuran Hendricks, Hardus Viljoen and Stephen Harmer were among the leading wicket-takers," he said.
