SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by 5 wickets at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi. Chasing a modest 130 runs to win, SRH were off to a rollicking start as Jonny Bairstow made a quickfire 48 off just 28 balls. His innings included 9 fours and a massive six. Bairstow and David Warner added 64 runs for the 1st wicket before Rahul Tewatia trapped Bairstow LBW. The Englishman missed his half-century by just 2 runs. Warner (10) soon followed his opening partner. The slow track helped the DC spinners to pick a few more wickets. But overall contribution by SRH batsmen enabled them to chase the total in 18.3 overs. With this win, SRH move to the top in the points table. Earlier, a disciplined bowling effort by SRH restricted DC to a meagre 129/8 in 20 overs. (SCORECARD)
