An all-round effort by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) led them to six-wicket win over Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi. Chasing 148 runs, Shane Watson gave CSK a flying start. However, the visiting side lost Ambati Rayudu cheaply for 5 after he was dismissed by Ishant Sharma. Watson then added 52 runs for the second wicket with Suresh Raina. Amit Mishra broke the partnership when he dismissed Watson for 44 (4 fours, 3 sixes). Raina followed soon after as Mishra struck again. He scored a quickfire 30 off just 16 balls. His innings included 4 fours and 1 six. Thereafter, captain MS Dhoni (32 not out, 2 fours and 1 six) and Kedar Jadhav stitched together a 48-run partnership to almost steer CSK home. But Kagiso Rabada dismissed Jadhav for 27 (2 fours). Needing just two runs to win, Dwayne Bravo hit a four to finish things off as CSK chased the target successfully with 2 balls remaining. This is CSK's second successive win in IPL 2019 as they climb to the top of the points table. Earlier, winning the toss, Delhi Capitals made 147/6 in 20 overs courtesy a fine 51 by Shikhar Dhawan.
