Sachin Tendulkar to be presented with golden bat and ball by Mamata Banerjee

Sachin Tendulkar will be presented a golden bat and ball by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at a felicitation ceremony ahead of Mumbai Indians' IPL match against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens here on May 12.

Sachin Tendulkar will be presented a golden bat and ball by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at a felicitation ceremony ahead of Mumbai Indians' IPL match against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens here on May 12.

Stating this, Sports Minister Madan Mitra told reporters here, "We plan to felicitate Sachin Tendulkar in a befitting way for his 100th international century milestone." Tendulkar would also be presented a citation and memento, he said.

The Cricket Association of Bengal would be a part of the felicitation, he said.
