Olympic medalist MC Mary Kom, who was blessed with her third son, has named her baby Prince Chungthanglen Kom. According to her husband Onler Kom she is busy nursing the child and everyone in the family is smitten by him.
"I have named him Prince Chungthanglen Kom. I'm enjoying the motherhood again and it's good to see him growing every day. My twin sons are so excited to have another member in the family. The whole day they are busy cuddling and playing with Prince," Mary Kom was quoted as saying by the Times of India.
When asked when Mary would return to the ring, her husband Onler said, "Mary will at least take a break of 7 to 8 months. She wants to take care of the baby. Her weight had become 75kg during pregnancy and post pregnancy she became 65kg. Now Mary is trying to lose weight and is 60 kg. I'm sure she will get back to shape and start her boxing again. She will never stop playing the game. She never did that even after her twins were born. She will now prepare for the Commonwealth games and Olympics. But right now, she wants to take a break and spend some time with her little son."
Priyanka Chopra is to play Mary's character in a movie based on the boxer's life. But Mary has not been able to get in touch as she has been busy with her baby and was unable to give Priyanka her condolences after the death of actor's father.
"I have been so busy with the baby that I couldn't call her. But I have got to know that the shooting of the movie has begun in Mumbai," said Mary.
Asked if Priyanka was expected to visit Mary in Manipur during the movie shooting, Mary's husband said, "As of now we have not got any details from anyone. Priyanka is a big star and it will be slightly difficult to manage the local crowd if she visits here for the movie shooting. I guess, they won't be shooting here in Manipur instead plan to do the shooting in Manali after month of August. Also regarding Priyanka's training we have send across all Mary's training CDs. Mary is busy nursing her baby hence she doesn't have the time to train Priyanka at the moment."
Mary Kom lifted India's flag high when she won a bronze medal at the London Olympics last year after reaching the semi-finals.
