The right-armer, who has also found his way into the West Indies ODI squad offers enough variety to fox batsmen; a quality that most IPL teams could find lethal.
For an Indian fan, his performance for Trinidad and Tobago against Chennai Super Kings in Champions League 2011 was enough to see him as a force. Especially considering that the Dhoni-led Super Kings were believed to be the masters of the game, at least till then.
But for the off-spinner, his success-story started around two years earlier. Picking up all ten wickets in a trial match earned him an instant call from Trinidad and Tobago.
His path forward was not simple however. Doubts were raised over his action which forced him to work with the bio-mechanical experts in Perth to get it right.
His action changed, his efficiency only improved and the right-armer was even more menacing than before. He was picked in the Trinidad and Tobago Champions League squad and went on to picking 10 wickets at the average of just 10.5 runs. Even more noticeable was the strike rate was his economy, which stood at 4.37 runs per over.
