Mumbai Indians' Harbhajan Singh, who had featured in the IPL bidding contingent for his team, expressed satisfaction at Mumbai's performance in the first half of the IPL auction 2012 on Saturday.
Harbhajan stated that Team owner Nita Ambani had worked exceptionally hard to slate a strategy for the team. "Nita Bhabhi has worked hard. Yesterday also, we sat till 4 am in the morning", said Bhajji.
Asked about the atmosphere in the auction room, Bhajji admitted nerves were developing. "I was a little tense, (it's) more intense than playing cricket", said the off-spinner.
Harbhajan also expressed the fact that they would have liked to include Sunil Narine and Brendon McCullum, both who went to Kolkata Knight Riders after Mumbai had pulled out.
The Turbanator also expressed that the team now has a sense of flexibility, allowing them to change the team as per the conditions.
Mumbai, who had bought the likes of RP Singh, Mitchell Johnson, Herschelle Gibbs and Robin Peterson still had over $1 million left in their purse at the Lunch break.
