Anushka Sharma Bonds With Dinesh Karthik's Fiance Dipika Pallikal, 'Steers Clear' of Virat Kohli

Days after Virat Kohli created a stir with a visit to the VIP box to meet girlfriend Anushka Sharma, the Bollywood diva was seen in the stands yet again as Royal Challengers Bangalore clashed against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 8 Eliminator at Pune. But this time, Anushka evaded all controversy and instead bonded with Dinesh Karthik's fiance and squash star Dipika Pallikal. (Click Here for Photos)

Karthik, a discarded India wicketkeeper, is part of Kohli's RCB and bagged a staggering Rs 10.5 crores in the IPL auction this year.

Kohli had on Sunday broken stringent anti-corruption codes when he stepped out of the dressing-room during a rain-break in the match against Delhi Daredevils. The Delhi batsman was clicked chatting with Anushka as Delhi Daredevils' Yuvraj Singh and Karthik watched on. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took a dim view of the breach but let the India Test skipper off without any punishment.

But it was serious business in the crucial knockout game in Pune's Maharashrtra Cricket Association Stadium. Kohli managed only 12 with the bat but led his team spiritedly, with 180 on the board. Meanwhile, Anushka and Dipika, from different professional backgrounds but with a common love for cricket, led the cheer for the Royal Challengers, who were playing their first play-offs match in four years. RCB crushed Royals by 71 runs to set up a Qualifier 2 tie against Chennai Super Kings. The winner will make it to the final against Mumbai Indians on may 24.
