Mumbai Indians finally got into their groove after beating Royal Challengers Bangalore by 18 runs at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. Chasing 210 to win, RCB got off to a bad start losing their stars Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli early. It was a hurricane knock from AB de Villiers and David Wiese that gave them a semblance of hope but a three wicket haul from Harbhajan Singh saw the game out for Mumbai.
Earlier, Mumbai Indians smashed 209/7 after Virat Kohli invited them to bat first. Lendl Simmons and Unmukt Chand made merry of a lackluster Bangalore bowling attack but it was Rohit Sharma who ran riot in the end with a 15-ball 42 that pushed the Mumbai score over 200.

Mumbai has gone off to a disastrous start like they did last season. They are the only team that has not opened its account after four back-to-back defeats to defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders, Kings XI Punjab, Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings. (Mumbai Indians Seek Fresh Start)
Although, their batting has shown signs of improvement, their bowling remains a worry for Rohit Sharma. They are still in search of the right combination and tonight at Bangalore, they need to get it right.

The Royal Challengers had a good start beating Kolkata in their opening match but they lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad in their second game. Though boasting of devastating batsmen like Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers, they collapsed in the last match, losing five wickets in the last two overs. (Gayle Still the Same Force With the Willow?)
Against a struggling Mumbai unit, Kohli's men would be out to gain full points to steady their position in the IPL table.
