11:34 PM IST: There were a few jitters but the Daredevils won by five wickets with one ball to spare. DD have ended their 11-match losing streak.
11:26 PM IST: Is there a twist in the tale? Delhi were cruising along towards a win but Anureet Singh gave KXIP a whiff of hope with two wickets in two balls; he has snared Yuvraj (55) and Agarwal (68) to send jitters in the DD camp; seven needed off nine balls.

11:12 PM IST: Yuvraj has roared back to form with a 33-ball half-century and he gets there with a SIX! This has been a top class knock from a top-class batsman. What a player he has been for India and DD are now reaping the benefits of his power-packed hitting.
11:06 PM IST: Yuvraj Singh smashes Axar Patel for two SIXES as Delhi Daredevils reach 135/2 in 16 overs; they are closing in on a victory.

11:02 PM IST: Fifty for Mayank Agarwal and he gets there with a SIX off Mitch Johnson, who has conceded 43 off his four overs. DD need 46 off the last five overs. KXIP look like they could lose this one.
10:54 PM IST: Superb stand between Agarwal and Yuvraj, who has looked a lot more comfortable than his previous two innings. Delhi are 102/2 in 14 overs and they need 64 to win off six overs.
10:48 PM IST: The focus is obviously on Yuvraj but young Mayank Agarwal is looking very assured in the chase. This is a good time for the Daredevils.
10:41 PM IST: Halfway into the innings, Daredevils are 69/2 and need another 103 to win off the last 10 overs. Have a look at the many moods of Preity Zinta as she cheers her team on in Pune:

10:38 PM IST: FOUR! Bang! Poor bowling from Sandeep Sharma and Yuvraj pounced on it. Poor, poor bowling; that was dug in shot and Yuvi wouldn't have missed that in his sleep. DD 69/2 in 10 overs.
10:37 PM IST: Yuvraj Singh has struggled in the middle for seven deliveries. He's now up against his former team, Kings XI Punjab, with whom he started his IPL career.

10:25 PM IST: WICKET! Just when Delhi Daredevils were getting into a strong position, Duminy was brilliantly run out for 21 by Axar Patel. That really was unlucky for DD but it was sharp work by Patel, who showed great presence of mind. DD 53/2 in 7.2 overs chasing 166 vs KXIP

10:18 PM IST: Rishi Dhawan back in the attack as Delhi move to 47/1 in 6 overs; this is a crucial phase in the game. Duminy needs to up the ante and play the anchor's role here? KXIP have a strong bowling line-up and could easily stifle batting teams if they don't show some aggression.
10:14 PM IST: DD are 40/1 in 5 overs; they have lost Iyer but skipper Duminy has looked good in the middle so far. This is not a bad start at all. Can they keep the momentum going and upset the Kings XI tonight?
10:03 PM IST: WICKET! KXIP's potent pace attack has struck early; Sandeep Sharma had Shreyas Iyer top edge to third man and DD are 23/1 in 2.5 overs chasing 166 vs KXIP.

10:00 PM IST: This is a good starter for the Daredevils. Their young openers have raced away to 23/0 in the third over.
9:55 PM IST: Delhi are 7/0 after 1 over with Mayank Agarwal and Shreyas Iyer in the middle. Anureet Singh will bowl the second over.
9:49 PM IST: KXIP players get into a huddle as they wait for the Delhi openers to walk into the middle. This will be a tough chase for DD, faced with Punjab's strong pace battery. Sandeep, Anureet and Johnson. Can either Duminy or Yuvraj get going and play a big knock?
9:35 PM IST: Great show by Delhi's spinners. Tahir, Duminy and Mishra took six wickets between them as Kings XI Punjab ended up with 165/7 in their 20 overs. Can Yuvraj Singh fire today and chase down the target?
9:20 PM IST: WICKET! That's another one down. Delhi's South African spinners are weaving magic in Pune. Duminy has removed his South African teammate Miller for 5 and KXIP are 137/5 in 17 overs.

9:15 PM IST: SIX! And again. Maxwell slaps that one into the stands. WICKET! But then he plays the next one straight to Manoj Tiwary. KXIP 131/4
9:14 PM IST: SIX! Maxwell walks in and hammers Imran Tahir out of the park; not many have been able to do that in recent times. What a shot that was. KXIP 123/3 in the 16th over.
9:08 PM IST: WICKET! Duminy has the last laugh as Sehwag mistimed a sliced shot to Coulter-Nile. That leaves a great platform for Miller and Maxwell to explode in the last five overs. KXIP 115/3 in 15.
9:06 PM IST: SIX! Thumped that one. Duminy bowling at this stage is a nice gift for Sehwag. He has tonked that into the crowd.
9:02 PM IST: WICKET! This is big wicket for the Daredevils as Mishra bowls Saha for 39; he really was setting the pace even as Sehwga started to struggle at one end. That has paved the way for the big-hitters and David Miller is the first of the lot to stride into the middle. KXIP 104/2 in 13.5 overs.
8:57 PM IST: SIX! There was class written all over that shot as Saha dispatched Coulter-Nile into the stands. Beautiful shot that.
8:52 PM IST: Meanwhile, as Kings XI Punjab work towards posting a challenging total on the board, word has emerged that this could be the last IPL for Preity Zinta. Read more of that here
8:49 PM IST: Kings XI Punjab are batting themselves to a strong position, thanks to Sehwag and Saha, who too has looked increasingly dangerous; 83/1 in 11 overs.
8:46 PM IST: Halfway into the innings and KXIP are 73/1 in 10 overs vs Delhi Daredevils. This has been a good bowling performance from Coulter-Nile and Co. But they need to pick up some wickets now; KXIP have a string of dangerous batsmen set to walk in soon.
8:38 PM IST: SIX! Wow. Take that from Viru Sehwag. Imran Tahir has been among the best spinners in international cricket but when Sehwag is on song, reputation matters little. He follows that up with a boundary behind square on the off-side. And there was another boundary after as KXIP move to 69/1 in 8.5 overs.

8:34 PM IST: Sehwag has not exactly gone berzerk tonight but he has settled down to seemingly play the anchor's role. That is always a dangerous sign for any team. Kings XI Punjab move on to 52/1 in 8 overs vs Delhi Daredevils.
8:27 PM IST: SIX! Boom. Saha has smoked that into the stands. Dominic does not know really know where to bowl anymore. These are great tactics by the KXIP batsmen; keep on attacking at every opportunity.

8:21 PM IST: WICKET! Brilliant catching by the DD skipper. Vijay mistimed Mathews and was well taken by JP Duminy. This is a big breakthrough for the Daredevils. Saha has joined Sehwag in the middle. Kings XI Punjab 33/1 in 5 overs.
8:20 PM IST: The Daredevils bowlers are under pressure with Sehwag and Vijay deciding to deal in boundaries after a watchful start.
8:12 PM IST: FOUR! The first boundary off Sehwag's bat as he carves Coulter-Nile over backward point. This is what the Pune crowds want to see and they have erupted with joy. KXIP 16/0 in 3 overs.
© BCCI
8:08 PM IST: SIX! Vijay has treated that one from Joseph with complete disdain; the ball flies way back into the rows as the crowd erupts. This is plain and clean bulling.
8:06 PM IST: FOUR! After a good first over from Nathan Coulter-Nile, Murali Vijay eases the pressure on KXIP by thumping Dominic Joseph to the fence. It was a slow ball and Vijay, who has been in good form recently decided to send it scurrying to the fence.
8:03 PM IST: A huge cheer goes around the ground as the TV cameras focus on KXIP co-owner Preity Zinta - she responds by waiving at her fans.
8:02 PM IST: KXIP openers Vijay and Sehwag in the middle. This is a powerful batting line-up with the likes of Sehwag, Miller, Maxwell and Bailey to come in.
7:35 PM IST: Playing XI:
Kings XI Punjab: M Vijay, V Sehwag, GJ Maxwell, DA Miller, GJ Bailey (Captain), R Dhawan, MG Johnson, WP Saha (WK), AR Patel, Anureet Singh, Sandeep Sharma

Delhi Daredevils completely revamped their squad after two disastrous seasons in the Indian Premier League. Some big names were dropped to make way for Yuvraj Singh, Albie Morkel, Angelo Mathews, Zaheer Khan and Amit Mishra. JP Duminy, who was Delhi's most successful batsman last year took over as skipper and with Gary Kirsten as coach, a much better start to the 2015 was expected. But that has not happened yet and Delhi find themselves on the verge of the most number of defeats on-the-trot.
Delhi's two defeats against Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals, have however, not been overwhelming. Their big names have almost come to the party but failed to make any significant impact. Morkel was heroic against the Super Kings and Imran Tahir tried his best against the Royals. But the team has still not earned its first points. Against a well-settled Kings XI Punjab, it could be even more difficult.
Completely different from the Daredevils, Kings XI have had a dream run. Packed with power-hitters and venomous pacers, the George Bailey-led team has been spectacular. Punjab were runners-up last year and have played some great cricket this year. The likes of Virender Sehwag, David Miller, Glenn Maxwell, Bailey and Mitchell Johnson add incredible balance to a side that has some exciting young Indian talent. Such is the team's depth, that Shaun Marsh, their highest run-getter in the IPL, has had to sit out.
But it could eventually turn out to be a clash between Yuvraj and Johnson.Yuvraj was bought for a record Rs 16 crore but so far he has only managed 9 and 27. India's 2011 World Cup hero will need to regain some of his old touch and inspire the Daredevils to come up with a special effort tonight.
Yuvraj and Johnson can turn a match on its head on their day and the former would be itching to have a go at the Aussie tearaway. Will they make it a clash worth remembering for a long time?
