23:46 Man of the Match and Australia's World Cup hero James Faulkner was pleased with his outing. "I just back my T20 cricket to be honest. It was nice to see Hooda show a lot of confidence in his first game," said the all-rounder.
23:35 George Bailey seemed looked for the positives in the match. "Pretty happy with the way we went with the ball. We could have taken a few opportunities, but I was happy at the half-way mark. A couple of run-outs hurt," he said
Tim Southee is happy to get off to a winning start in the IPL. "It was a great win to start the IPL. We would have been 140-150. We got more than what we wanted. We needed early wickets and go that through run outs and created pressure," he said.

Royals Player Informs BCCI of Bookie Incident
Ahead of Rajasthan Royals' opening match in IPL 8, news has emerged that a player from their side was allegedly approached by a Ranji teammate to fix a game in exchange for money. The player didn't accept the offer, and instead informed about the incident to his franchise officials, who in turn reported it to the Anti-Corruption and Security Unit (ACSU) of the IPL. (Read More)
